Surviving the Mall…

Yesterday, I decided to venture out and go shopping.  My first stop was Brooks Brothers in the Americana Mall in Manhasset.  They were having their annual 50% off sale and if you were there before 1 pm, you got an additional 15% off.  Since I had to pick up a suit for my son, I raced over there as early as possible and lucked out by getting 65% off a beautiful pin-stripped suit.

There were so many people at Brooks Brothers.  I didn’t even know they had that many patrons.  People were pushing, shoving and trying to buy as much as possible to capitalize on the big sale. After waiting for about a 1/2 hour, I finally checked out my purchases and was on my way.

The next stop was Roosevelt Field.  The line into the mall was incredible.  It backed up the Meadowbrook Parkway with bumper to bumper cars.  After a long wait, I got to the mall, valet parked because the lot was packed, and was on my way.

If I had seen the video below, I would have been more prepared.  I hope you were prepared and enjoyed the day…
