The Scary White Blank Page

We all have it.  It’s nothing new.  At one time or another, we will all get writers block.  We look at a white page and we don’t have anything to say.

Do we write about what happened today or yesterday?  Do we write about our dreams and ambitions? Or do we just sit and wonder whether or not the words will eventually come out.  And then, something amazing happens.  When you start to write, it all comes out.

If you think about it, you have a lot to say.  When you write, especially for a blog, you can say anything that you feel like saying.

If you want to stand up and shout: “I CAN’T STAND IT ANYMORE….” You can.

If you want to silently think about the white page and wonder about things that have happened in your life and how you can inspire others, you can.

What do you want to do when you grow up?  I think we all ask ourselves this question throughout our lives.  We don’t just ask when we are young and we don’t just think about it once we have a career, we can be in a career for 20+ years and still think, is this right for me?

I guess the bottom line about the white page is, what is it that you want? Where do you see yourself going?  Do you want to go anywhere?  And if so, why?

I love the white page when blogging. It’s exactly what I need. No rules, no forced topics, just freedom to write what you think, how you feel, what you’ve done or nothing at all.
