The new Star Trek movie is certainly worth the price of a movie ticket. As a matter of fact, I just saw the movie Saturday night at the IMAX Theatre at the Cradle of Aviation in Mitchell Field, Long Island, and I am ready to go back to see it again!

It was one of the best Star Trek movies I have seen, and I have seen all of them. I felt as though it got better and better throughout the entire movie. At the end, I was more excited than when I sat down.

James T. Kirk, Jr., played by Chris Pine, Spock, played by Zachary Quinto of Heroes, and the entire crew aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise did an outstanding job.

Without spoiling things, I will say that for those of us who are regular Star Trek fans, you will find the jokes relate to earlier episodes, but may be a little confused with the new “timeline.”

For those of you out there who don’t watch Star Trek, this movie is also for you. Since it starts at the beginning when the crew first meets, it feels like a totally new movie.
