Book Review: Power of the Possible…

One of my Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) buddies, Arthur Meyerovich recently gave me a copy of the book, “The Power of the Possible” by Auriela McCarthy. Ms. McCarthy is not a trained therapist but she is the type of person who others “go to” with problems and concerns and she has a deep understanding of people.

The book is filled with stories, all relatable, about common every day people going through change. One story was about a mother who had trouble relating to her child. Another focused on a woman with an alcoholic husband. And yet another story focused on a women who developed a chronic life-threatening disease that miraculously disappeared after having a self-realization.

All of these people have hit rock bottom and yet, they all realized that they can’t change the people they love. The people they love must change themselves.

The concepts in this book are deep. It’s definitely not a book to skim through. The reader needs time to think about different ideas introduced in the book.

The Power of the Possible is a spiritual book that makes one think about life, relationships and the power of the possible. It’s a must read for anyone seeking a new direction in their life.
