In A Moment…

It’s amazing how you go through life as if everything will be the same and then something happens and everything changes.

I was in my car on my way home from work. It was very windy.  I was getting on the Northern Parkway from the Wantagh and passed over a bridge.  As I was driving, I noticed a man walking with some boxes.  Suddenly, one of the boxes he was carrying got blown over the bridge onto the parkway.  He peeked his head over the bridge, shook his head and kept walking.  Whatever he was carrying was gone forever.

Watching the box blow over the bridge made me think about what was inside.  Was it a Christmas gift?  Money?  Or just an article of clothing he bought from Century 21?

I guess one will never know.  What we do know, this man’s life was changed.
