I don’t know if you had this experience but lately I’ve been going the restrooms at various restaurants and I can’t figure out which one is the ladies’ room and which one is the men’s room.
I’m not kidding.
Yesterday, I went to the Mucky Duck in Fort Meyers, Florida and saw a bathroom that said Sharks. Now a shark, I think, could be a boy or girl, no? And the other bathroom said Stingray…. So was I a shark or a stingray?
Then the other day, I was at TAO in New York City. I went downstairs to the ladies’ room to find that there was a Yin and a Yang. Which was one is? I had a 50/50 chance of getting it right. And, you know what, I got it wrong!
Why do restaurants do that? Why don’t they just label the bathrooms appropriately?
