Targeting Media Has Changed… June 13, 2009

1.jpgWhen I first started HJMT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC more than 17 years ago, I would send out press releases to a targeted media list. A few years after that, the media requested that we send release via fax machine. After that, they asked us to email them the information. Today, they want to know the story in 140 characters or less via Twitter. The microblog would direct media back to a newsroom where the media can gather background information.
