To friends and family from Jill Breth-recommended book on social media…

Hi everyone. I went to a lecture at the Long Beach Library yesterday. The topic was on Social Media.

It was a good introduction to the topic for me since I basically know absolutely nothing on the topic in terms of using it to market a company.

Hilary Topper, the speaker was wonderful…I enjoyed meeting her. She is a warm, intelligent person who is a great businesswoman and a very talented writer…I’d like to get to know her better…I could use a mentor…and another friend…I will follow her blog.

I bought her book at the lecture…it’s great.

I have a lot to learn about Social Media to market my own business as a freelance office manager, administrative assistant and bookkeeper here in Nassau County.

I will be learning more about this topic and using it myself over the next few months to increase my client base.

I thought since most of you are job hunting, self-employed or have your own companies, I would recommend Hilary Topper’s new book to you. I just started to read it…and it’s a great place to start.

The book is called, “Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Social Media but were afraid to ask… Building Your Business Using Consumer Generated Media” by Hilary JM Topper, MPA.

Thank you Hilary for starting me on my journey to learn about this tool for myself…a number of my clients, who are very, very small companies here on Long Island, have me get involved in their own prospecting for new business, so this personal journey will help them out too…

Thanks for writing the book. When I’m done, I will read the other books you mentioned in your book… Jill
