How Do You Deal With Emails?

Like most people, I send out a lot of emails. I send messages to clients, prospects, media and even vendors. I know everyone is busy. Most people have a portable email device and check their emails regularly.

The one thing that bothers me most, is when I send an email and don’t get a response. So I give them a day or two and then re-send the email. If the message is important, I often follow up with a phone call to make sure the person received my message.

Today, I called a woman who kept sending me multiple copies of the same email and each time I responded. However, she never received my replies. So, I called her and apparently she is having trouble getting messages.

When things like that happen, I wonder if anyone is getting my messages?

Then, one day, I’ll get a ton of responses back. And I think, “hmmm… maybe they don’t think the emails are that important and file them to get to them at a later time….”

With all the social media sites, text messages and emails, it’s hard to keep up. At the same time, it’s important to stay on top of your messages. So what do you do?
