Getting Ready for the Work Week…

It’s Monday again and I asked my community over the weekend what they do to prepare Sunday night for the work week. Here’s some of the responses:

  • “I just tell myself on Sunday night that tomorrow is Friday. And if tomorrow is Friday the weekend can’t be far behind.” Twitter.com/randy1043
  • “I teach in a college so the upcoming work week in the summer is one long weekend. Life is good.” Tom Proietti/Facebook
  • “I create a list each week of what I will accomplish during the week. I post it in my office to keep me on task. I also sponsor a group to support goals;daily, weekly, quarterly….. this is a tremendous help for me.” Jaimy Lynn/Facebook
  • “I look at my exchange calendar/email and, actually, I do check Facebook to see what others are looking into. I also check the latest news. Then I do some laundry… and some dishes.” Meg Colombo
  • I become excited with the potential to empower people who are facing a crisis to live their dreams! www.PowerToOvercome.com” Dr. Mark Lerner/Twitter
  • “I have a great Sunday and know that if Monday is bad, at least I have Tuesday off!!!!!!!!!!!” Sharyl Rice/Facebook

What do I do? I lay out my clothes, check my calendar, my emails, social networking sites, make the kids lunch, make sure that backpacks are packed and homework is done and take a deep breath and breathe!
