Facebook Status Update Halts Wedding?

Did you hear about the man who stopped his wedding to update his Facebook status from “in a relationship” to “married?”Well that actually happened in Maryland this past weekend when Dana Hanna told the Minister to hold up as he tweeted both on Facebook and Twitter – “Standing at the altar with @TracyPage where just a second ago, she became my wife! Gotta go, time to kiss my bride.”When the traditional news media picked up on the story and criticized the Maryland couple, Hanna came back and said: “To all the criticizers of my video out there questioning my sanity: You don’t get it. I was having fun at MY wedding! Loosen up, have fun!”

It’s interesting how times are changing.  Just makes me think about Blogworld and how I was standing at a dance club without my iphone and everyone else was tweeting away….
