Tom’s of Maine Product Review

If something is healthy it tastes bad and if it’s not it tastes great, right?

Well, I was pleasantly surprised by Tom’s of Maine when, at Blogher Health, I was given a package of goodies from the company including fluoride mouthwash, antiperspirant, body wash, and toothpaste. I decided to give it a try. What did I have to lose?

I have to say that, after trying out all these products, I am now a believer in Tom’s of Maine and I’m not sure if I’m going to go back to Crest or any of the other products I have used for years.

Tom’s of Maine Whole Care Fluoride Mouthwash:

This mouthwash is all natural. It fights cavities; strengthens enamel; restores minerals; freshens breath; cleans between teeth and it’s alcohol free! There are no artificial dyes, sweeteners, preservatives or animal ingredients and Tom’s of Maine does no animal testing.

Personally, I thought it tasted great, much better than Listerine! My mouth tasted fresh and clean when I rinsed with this mouthwash plus, I liked to use it after I went swimming. The chlorine is not good for your mouth!

The price for this is $6.49 for 16 oz.

Tom’s of Maine Coconut Lavender Antiperspirant

Clinically proven to provide 24-hour odor and wetness protection, this antiperspirant smells great! It’s made from plants and mineral sources and doesn’t contain any artificial fragrance. There are no artificial preservatives and it was never tested on animals and has no animal ingredients. Plus, the package is made from recycled packaging! The product also comes in fresh meadow and natural powder scents.

The price is $4.99

Tom’s of Maine Natural Moisturizing Body Wash

The formula is made to help maintain your skin’s natural moisture and contains organic botanicals including: virgin coconut oil, raw shea butter and Moroccan Argan oil. All of the body washes are tested by a dermatologist and free from artificial fragrances and animal ingredients with no animal testing. The product comes in three different blends — lavender & shea (that’s the one I have); creamy coconut and orange blossom. The packaging is also made from recyclable materials.

I just love the way it smells and leaves my body feeling fresh and clean!

The price: $6.99

Tom’s of Maine was a product I had seen in the store for years, but I always brushed over it. Now, I’m going to make it my business to go toward it, pick it up and buy it.

I too like the quality and purity of Tom’s of Maine products. As with all “natural” of “organic” products, you pay a little extra, especially with its smaller package sizes than the competition’s.
