I think most businesses were closed on Friday, July 3. At HJMT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC, we’re closed today.
Why? I’m not really sure but when I took a consensus of the staff, they wanted Monday off. So, we closed. (Of course, I did the right thing and closed early on Friday too…)
Friday was an unusually quiet day. In the morning, I found out that the stock market even closed. “Oh, no,” I thought. “Did we do the wrong thing?”
So today, everyone is back at work and we have the day off. Did we do the right thing? Does it matter? What do you think?
