I met the people from Garden of Life at the recent Blogher conference in Chicago. I had never heard of the company before but they claimed to have all natural supplements and offer a wide variety of products. I requested a sample of a few different products and they sent me Perfect Food Super Green Formula

What’s interesting about this product is that it has 45 phytonutrient-dense superfoods and 12 sprouted ingredients. This is the “perfect” supplement for those of us who don’t get enough greens in our diets. Perfect Food Super Green Formula has more greens in every serving than any other food supplement. It’s also all natural. There are no harmful ingredients. It also contains 10 pro-biotic strains to support your immune system.
Since I have stomach issues, I decided to try out this product first.
When you open the sealed lid, you will notice that the supplement is a grounded green. It smells like a cross between broccoli and bean sprouts. Be aware that when you are drinking it, and you actually can mix this one with fruit juice, you will have green over your mouth so make sure you check the mirror before you go out.
I actually thought it didn’t taste bad. It includes so much including: alfalfa spouts and wheat grass to brussel spouts and Acerola cherry extract. It has 1 billion CFU’s of probiotic blend. And, the best part is, it’s only 30 calories per savings.
You mix one level spoon with 8 ounces of water or juice one or more times a day. The product suggests that you start with a 1/4 serving and work your way up to a full serving. There is a scoop included and the product is not recommended for children.
