Using Instagram Yet? It May Be Too Late…

I don’t know about you, but when I found out about Instagram, I immediately downloaded it on my iPhone.  I took one or two shots and then quickly lost interest.

But the other day, I was looking at it again.  I started playing around and realized that I really enjoy taking photos with Instagram.  I also enjoy looking at the photos that others post on Instagram. Some of the photos are so incredibly creative.  It’s like having an art gallery at my fingertips!  I’ve seen cool photos of dogs, people and objects.

What I like about it is that you can comment on what others put up. You can link it with Facebook or Twitter or you can keep it in Instagram and share with only your Instagram “friends.”

You can take an existing photo that you took from your phone and put filters on it. Or, you can take a photo turn it upside down and put an interesting filter on it to make the color stand out. You can also just make it black and white and then blur out specific things in the photo and keep others nice and clear.

Instagram makes an amateur photographer seem professional!  I’m enjoying it.  It’s just plain old fun. Until, I read that Instagram may be no longer available!

Facebook just developed a camera and now there is a new app available called, Facebook Camera. This new app enables you to see all your friends’ photos that they put up on FB. It has similar features as Instagram, where you can use filters and change the color and composition of the photo, but it also has a cropping feature, which is very nice, especially when you have random people jump in front of your image and you want to crop them out!

So now what?  Hello goodbye Instagram and welcome Facebook Camera?
