Coca Cola’s Gold Peak Tea and Coffee
Gold Peak Tea produces a line of iced tea and coffee products and recently introduced drinks made with real milk and sugar — Salted Caramel Coffee Drink and Chai Latte tea with milk.
They sent me a sample of each for review on this blog. I tasted the Chai Latte first. It smelled sweet and had a cinnamon smell. It looked just like coffee. The flavor was light and delicious. It was sweet but not that sweet. The tea was refreshing and would make a perfect addition to a hot summer day.
With only 160 calories for one bottle, the tea included all natural ingredients — tea, brewed water, skim milk, sugar, cream and other natural flavors.
The bottle says, “by carefully blending Gold Peak Tea, chai spices and real milk, we have brought you a perfectly balanced tea latte that delivers great flavors in every sip.” And, that’s is the truth.
The Salted Caramel Coffee has a real strong “salted caramel coffee” flavor. And, wow, it is truly delicious. I even asked one of my employees to give it a try and she agreed. This was one of the best iced coffees I had tasted in a long time.
The Salted Caramel Coffee Drink also has real coffee, skim milk, sugar, and natural flavors. It has a few more calories per bottle with 270 per bottle.
What I love about the Coca Cola company, the makers of the Gold Peak Tea and Coffee drinks, is that they care about people and had partnered with Feeding America, a non-profit organization that serves more than 4 billion meals a year to 46 million Americans – including 12 million children and 7 million seniors – through its network of 200 food banks serving 60,000 agencies nationwide.
From May 1 to June 30, Gold Peak will donate 11 meals to feeding America for each meal virtually shared through the appropriate channels up to 100,000 shares. There are two ways to get involved:
