Not Just Another NYC Networking Event…

current_cover_homepage.jpgTonight the New York Enterprise Report hosted a networking party at Crest, 268 W. 47th Street in NYC. Crest is a great place to hold an event because of the spacious circular room and the convenient location in the heart of Times Square. The event, geared for senior level business people looking for potential business in 2009, was sponsored by the Blackberry Storm. It was neat to check out the new Storm and at the same time get free stuff too — pens, compasses and even breath mints!

Rob Levin, publisher of the New York Enterprise Report, knows how to get the right people in the room. All different types of businesses were present. I met some interesting people who I may or may not do business with, but I found it an enjoyable evening. I even met Norm Brodsky, author of the new book, The Knack, How Street-Smart Entrepreneurs Learn to Handle Whatever Comes Up. (If I knew he would be there, I would have brought a copy of his book with me for him to sign. I just bought it yesterday at Border Books!)

Thanks Rob Levin and the entire NY Enterprise Report staff for holding these types of events. Because of our current economic situation, it’s important to market your services. The more you’re out there, the more you’ll be set for 2009!

Next time Rob Levin or the New York Enterprise Report hold an event, open up your email and come on down. You’ll be pleasantly surprised that it’s not just another NYC networking event!
