I don’t know about you, but I find all of my devices lose power after a few hours of use. Then, I scramble looking for an outlet to plug in. However, there are times that outlets aren’t that accessible. Therefore, if you’re someone like me who is constantly on the go, you need to get a power bank.
Recently, I had the pleasure of testing the 14000mAh external batter charger. RavPower On-The-Go has 14,000mAh and has two USB drives along with a micro USB. It also has a flashlight, which I have to tell you, came in handy when I was walking on a dark road or when I was out in the dark searching for my keys.
The battery pack is nearly 3″ x 5″ and comes in a black matt finish. (It also comes in white.) In addition, the pack comes with a variety of cords that you can use for many of your devices. It doesn’t come with the adapter for the new iPhone 5. (But since I switched over to the Galaxy S4, it doesn’t impact me but there are many of you out there still using the new iPhones.)
The attachments come in a velvet case that you could carry with you. However, I dumped it and have been using my own USB and Micro USB cords so I don’t have to carry around so many cords.
Many other charges on the market have lower amperage. If I were to buy one, I would look for the highest amperage I could get. This particular product charged my devices fast and I was able to use it on multiple devices at once. I even used it to charge my new Google Glass.
The price on Amazon was reduced to $42.99 but the product retails for $129.99. Although I got it as a sample, I would highly recommend it. I am very happy with it especially when I travel or am on the go.
